Moroccan Tuna Tajine

2 cloves garlicEssaouira fishing boats
1 onion
3 tomatoes
1 bunch fresh coriander
3 tablespoons oil
4 pieces of tuna
juice of 1 lemon
1/2 teaspoon cummin
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
salt and pepper

Peel and chop the garlic and onion into small dice. Peel and deseed the tomatoes, and cut into small dice. Wash and chop the coriander.

Warm the oil in the tagine and throw in the onion, garlic and tomatoes. Add salt and pepper, cover and cook for 10 minutes.

Cut the tuna into chunks and add to the tajine together with the lemon juice, cummin, turmeric, ginger and coriander. Cover and cook for 30 minutes.

Serve immediately. This dish goes well with steamed potatoes.
