Handmade in brass from the city of Fes, this decorative item can be is made in the design of a hamsa.
Hamsa also means ‘five’ in Arabic and the five fingers of a hand and is a popular amulet in Morocco and the Middle East. The hamsa is used as a sign of protection and provides protection from the evil eye. It is also known as the hand of Fatima to commemorate the daughter of the Prophet Mohammed.
