Moucharabieh Key Ring
The Moucharabieh key ring is part of the fabulous Images d’Orient collection. It was designed in Lebanon by Peggy Raphael Dabar.
The design of this key ring was inspired by the moucharabieh. The moucharabieh is a screen generally built out of small turned wood pieces, assembled according to a complex geometrical scheme. It allowed the viewer to observe without being seen, thus its nickname ‘jealousy windows’. This meticulous technique was and is still used on windows, balconies, ceilings and vaults as well as on furniture in the Mediterranean and Morocco.
The key rings are handmade in high quality PVC. They are 5.5cm in diameter and come packaged in a plastic pouch.
This key ring will make a wonderful inexpensive gift for a man or woman.
Care instructions: Should the tab on the key ring become dirty, wash with some soap and warm water.
You’ll never lose your keys with this stylish and colourful key ring.
And if you like this design, why not chose a luggage tag in the same design or some other lovely Images d’Orient wares for your table.
