The Henne coasters are part of the beautiful Images d’Orient collection. The collection was designed in Lebanon by Peggy Raphael Dabar.
The design of these coasters was inspired by the Henne patterns used in some Middle Eastern , Moroccan and Indian cultures. Centuries of migration and cultural interaction makes the task of determining henna’s exact origin a complex one. However henna has been used for at least 5,000 years to sublimate beauty and to protect from misfortune. This natural colouring plant is called ‘paradise leaf’ by Moroccans, as when it is applied it is a message of love and an invitation for pleasure and happiness.
Each coaster measures 9cm x 9cm and is washable, shatterproof and heat resistant. The coasters are handmade from high quality PVC.
Care instructions: Wipe with a damp cloth or wash in warm soapy water.
The coasters come attractively gift-boxed. These coasters are available in a pack of 2 coasters with one of each design.
Team with a matching bottle coaster, trivet, soap holder and placemats from the Urban collection.
