Ferronnerie Fete coasters
The Ferronnerie Fete coasters are part of the beautiful Images d’Orient collection. This collection was designed in Lebanon by Peggy Raphael Dabar.
The design of these coasters is inspired the facades of middle class houses at the end of the 19th century in Lebanon. Cellars were included in kitchens at that time. The wrought iron grid (ferronnerie) was placed at the level of the pavement. These grids in varied patterns is now threatened. This design is also reminiscent of the wrought iron lacework typical of Victorian homes.
