Andalusia bottle coaster
The Andalusia bottle coaster is one of the latest design in the stunning Images d’Orient collection. Peggy Raphael Dabar designed this collection in Lebanon. Peggy designs homewares that combine the charm of her Mediterranean heritage with a contemporary look.
Since 2500 BC, “the land between two continents and two oceans” is a favoured destination for all all nations. From 409 until 429, the Vandals, a Germanic people, occupied this area and named it ‘Andalusia’. In 711, Andalusia witnessed the boom time of the Umayyad dynasty. The discovery of the New World by Christopher Columbus in 1492 marked its golden age that remained until its decline in the 17th Century. Despite all the conflicts and fluctuations, a lasting influence emerged from its cuisine, architecture and textiles.
Bottle coasters come attractively gift-boxed. Their diameter is 11cms and they are made from PVC. They are washable and heat resistant.
Care instructions: Wipe with a damp cloth or wash in warm soapy water.
