March 2016 Newsletter: Moroccan Wishlist

March 2016 Newsletter: Moroccan Wishlist.

Time flies and we’ll soon be off to Morocco on another buying trip. Our last trading day before we leave will be Saturday 9 April.

We’re always excited to go to Morocco –  we get to do lots of shopping, see our friends, practice our Moroccan Arabic (darija) and appalling French, and generally soak up the sights, smells and tastes of that amazing country.

We’d love to hear from you, our customers, if there’s anything in particular or something special you would like us to buy for you while we’re in Morocco. The plan is to top up our stocks of lanterns, mosaic tables, tagines, leather ottomans, tea glasses, teapots and tiles. And like always, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for exciting goodies for you. So if you have any special requests, please email us and let us know in the next week or two. And if it’s something in particular, email us a photo and we’ll do our best to source it for you.

When are we open?

Until the end of March, we’ll be open every Saturday from 10 to 5 and Sundays from 11 to 5. If these days don’t suit, we are happy to make another time – just call or email us. We’ll be open over the Labor Day and Easter weekends as well. In April, we’ll be open Saturday 9 April from 10 to 5. This will be our last trading day before we head to Morocco.

We re-open on Saturday 4 June and will be open our usual winter trading hours – Saturdays from 10 to 5 and other times by appointment.

Online sales

Due to the nature of our business, it is difficult to keep our online store open while we’re away. So our online store will close 7 April until we return at the beginning of June. But please don’t leave any purchases until the last minute as we are only a small business and not superhuman, and we don’t want to disappoint you.

Mothers Day

Mothers Day is the 2nd week of May, so why not get in early before we leave, and find something special for your mum. There are lots of things to suit all budgets.
