Our textiles are all hand-woven in Morocco and are either sabra silk or wool and cotton throws.

The Sabra silk is made from the agave plant and makes beautiful luminous bedspreads or throws. Some of the Sabra silk throws also have some bands of chenille woven in and this adds some texture to the piece.

The wool and cotton throws are made by the Amazigh, or Berber, women in the north of Morocco. When visiting small villages in the north, you will often see women wearing these ‘throws’ as a kind of apron or shawl. In Australia or New Zealand, the are probably better used as a throw for the bed or couch or as a table coth.
