December 2015 Newsletter – Mor-Rockin’ Christmas
Christmas time is sneaking up on us fast – less than 3 weeks away!!
If you’re like us, and you haven’t got round to do much Christmas shopping yet, we know the perfect place with beautiful items to suit all budgets. And of course buying from Metroscope will support Moroccan artisans and a local business to boot.
To make things easier for people who can’t get in to see us, almost everything on our website can now be purchased online. But to avoid disappointment, please don’t leave your purchases too late. We are only a small business and don’t have scores of Santa helpers to pack, and couriers also get busy. So hop online now.
If you’re in Melbourne, why not pop down to our showroom in downtown Collingwood. That way you can see and feel our beautiful Moroccan and Images d’Orient wares. The added benefit is that you will see some of our ‘in-store’ only specials.
Talking of specials – we are having a sale on our leather ottomans or pouffes as they are sometimes called. Check out the sale here. Our ottomans are the lowest price you will find in Australia. To get the word out, we are having a Facebook competition at the moment. One lucky person will receive an ottoman or pouffe (unfilled) of their choice. For further information go to our Facebook page.
Christmas and New Year trading hours
Up to Christmas we will be open:
- every Saturday from 10 to 5
- Sunday from 11 to 5
- weekdays from Friday 18 December to Christmas Eve from 1 to 6
- other times by appointment
After Christmas we will take a short break and will re-open on Saturday 2nd January 2016. We’ll resume our normal summer trading hours of Saturdays from 10 to 5 and Sundays from 11 to 5 and other times by appointment.
Our days and times will always be listed on our website and Facebook pages.
And finally …
We’d like to say a huge thank you to you, our customers. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to do what we love. We thank-you for your support, feedback and being such wonderful people.
We wish you all a happy Christmas, Hanukkah or whatever special religious festivity or celebration you may have. Be safe, happy and healthy!
